Jonathan Cole, MSN, FNP, is a 1996 graduate of Vanderbilt University. He graduated with highest honors and was a member of the university’s honor council. He was the recipient of the coveted Nancy and Hilliard Travis scholarship. He has practiced with the Hypertension Institute for 6 years and serves as its Associate Medical Director. He started his career in his hometown, Jackson, Tennessee, and practiced there for 5 years before moving to Nashville. He started his career as a mid-level family practitioner for the first 9 years before making the switch to adult-centered Internal Medicine.
Jonathan has a particular interest in managing chronic disease states, such as hypertension, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. He is a Clinical Instructor in the School of Nursing at Vanderbilt University.
