Dr. Maryam Pourpaki is Board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She completed her Rheumatology fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, where she was exposed to a myriad of complex rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders.  She received her medical degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Trihealth, Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.  She has been practicing Rheumatology since then in Chicago, IL. She then moved to Nashville with her family to join St, Thomas Medical Group in summer of 2019.  Her special clinical interest is in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Psoriatic arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Inflammatory Myopathies, Scleroderma, Sjogren’s syndrome, Gout and Osteoarthritis.  She is also specialized in ultrasound-guided joint injections.  Dr. Pourpaki is a member of American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology.  Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, playing piano, traveling and cooking.

Enter the campus from WEST END AVE and proceed past the Emergency Room, Admitting and the Heart Institute Parking. Enter the garage on the right, which reads “Parking for Doctor’s Appointments.” This garage is located under the Medical Plaza Building. If you need special help, proceed to the blue level of the garage. Wheelchairs are available. Proceed to plaza elevators, go to the 4th floor and follow signs to Suite 400.  Additional parking is located in the Harding Garage with a cross walk on the 3rd level.
