Dr. Willers joined St. Thomas medical group in 2015 after a nine year tenure as attending physician and assistant professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC and her medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Willers completed her training, finishing an internal medicine residency and pulmonary critical care fellowship at Vanderbilt University before accepting a faculty position in 2006.
Dr. Willers enjoys seeing a wide variety of general pulmonary conditions in her outpatient clinic including COPD, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, and bronchiectasis. She is skilled in fiberoptic bronchoscopy, including endobronchial ultrasound and is board-certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.
>In her free time, Dr. Willers enjoys spending time with her family, running, biking, being outdoors, and listening to live music.
