Dr. Maxwell is a Middle Tennessee native, having grown up north of Nashville and earning his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He earned his medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN, and trained in Internal Medicine in Louisville, KY before moving back to Nashville in 2008. He practiced at Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville for nearly 18 years before joining Saint Thomas Medical Group as a primary care physician.

Doctor Maxwell is board certified in internal medicine. Outside of medicine he enjoys spending time with his family and his dog. He is currently accepting new patients.
