Reed LaHaye, M.D.
Dr. Reed LaHaye joined STMG in 2025. He earned his undergraduate degree in medieval studies and history at Fordham University in the Bronx. He returned to his native Louisiana for medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He then completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. He then completed a second fellowship in sleep medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. LaHaye is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical
medicine and will sit for the sleep medicine boards in fall 2025. His focuses in pulmonary medicine include interstitial lung disease, COPD, and asthma. On the sleep medicine side, his focus is in sleep-disordered breathing, sleep movement disorders, and central disorders of hypersomnolence. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and cooking.
