Leah Brown, M.D.
Dr. Leah Brown joined STMG in 2025 after completing her training at Vanderbilt. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, before beginning medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. From there, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she completed her Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Brown specializes in a broad range of pulmonary disease, most notably chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as well as asthma, bronchiectasis, chronic cough, dyspnea, and lung nodules. She is also skilled in pulmonary based procedures in the Intensive Care setting and the outpatient setting, including fiberoptic bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertion. Dr. Brown currently splits her time between her medical career and her growing career as a novelist. Outside of work, you can find her exploring Nashville restaurants, hiking with her partner and dogs, and traveling the world.

Enter the campus and proceed past the Emergency Room, Admitting and the Heart Institute Parking. Enter the garage on the right, which reads “Parking for Doctor’s Appointments.” This garage is located under the Medical Plaza Building. If you need special help, proceed to the blue level of the garage. Wheelchairs are available. Proceed to plaza elevators, go to the 2nd floor and follow signs to Suite 200 across from Premier Radiology. Additional parking is located in the Harding Garage with a cross walk on the 3rd level.
