Dr. Bess joined St Thomas Medical Group in 2006. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1996 and her medical degree from the University of Maryland in 2001. At Vanderbilt University, she completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2004 and received her Masters of Public Health in 2006.
She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, Society of General Internal Medicine, and Tennessee Women in Medicine.
Dr. Bess is board certified in Internal Medicine and enjoys caring for a wide range of patients including geriatric patients. She enjoys cooking, watching football, and spending time with her husband and two children.
