Timothy C. Mangrum, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Timothy C. Mangrum is a native to Middle Tennessee. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from David Lipscomb University, in Nashville, Tennessee graduating with High Honors. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee again with High Honors. He received his specialty training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, again in Nashville, Tennessee.

He has been the Medical Director at Saint Thomas Medical Group since 2011 and the former Associate Chief of Medicine for Saint Thomas Hospital/ Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee 2009 through 2013. He has served as the Chief Medical Officer of the STMG ACO 2012 to 2016. He is a Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Adjunct Professor for the Vanderbilt School of Nursing, Served on numerous medical missions with Lipscomb University since 1990, received the Platinum Guardian Angel Award 2013. He remains active with the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics and has several publications on genetic disorders.

Dr. Mangrum is married with three daughters, active in his church, enjoying watersports and painting.

Enter the campus from the West End Ave entrance and turn right just past the Emergency Room.  Within this parking lot are 6 designated parking spots for the Children and Adult clinic as well as general parking availability.  Our clinic is directly inside Door B.

If this lot is full, parking is also available under the Medical Plaza building. To enter, follow signs for “Parking for Doctor’s Appointments”.  Wheelchairs are available on the blue level of this garage.  Take the plaza elevators to the 2nd floor and follow signs for Suite 222.
